would street dance classes be fun?
Hi im a 17 year old girl and im thinking of joining a street dance/ freestyle dance class. iv never done dance properly before but i think it must be so good to be able to dance. and i kinda have these visions/dreams of dancing in a group on stage.
However, the classes are £3.40 each. but is it worth it?

Hell yeah, But at first, all these people will probably be dancers that are committed to dance and have been dancing their whole lives, so you'll be playing catch up, but just make it a daily routine in your life, go to the classes, get a private tutor if you can afford it, buy proper dancewear, buy books, listen to the music, then you'll start to really like it and you can even start choreographing your own pieces. (:

woaahhh … £3.40 … that's cheap! .. mine are like nearly a tenner each lesson … my monthly dancing costs like £200 !!! … I love dancing too … and I understand the dream thing … it's an amazing feeling. I just did a show with that 2 grand from Britain's got talent and strike as well, and I rehearsed 25 hours a week for 3 weeks and my muscles killed, my body throbbed but it was totally worth it! … if you really like it … go for it … as Anniee_x said though … there will be a lot of people who are serious about it .. you have to commit yourself … without practice you won't get anywhere! … I've worked hard dancing since I was 2, and it's only just starting to pay off, with shows outside of my dance school etc! so go for it … but make sure your going to stick at it .. even if it is hard at first… (and if you don't want to join an experienced class, why don't you look out for new or opening classes.)

Yeah!!! Go for it. Street dance is awesome! ..And in my opinion- It's the best dance to learn. And maybe even the easiest. Just remember: Don't be embarresed and just give it a go see if you like it x Good Luck!
